Adding BlueTooth Keyboard or mouse to Computer in Shared Office
The BT keyboard and mouse that we use in shared offices allow you to connect 3 different laptops can use the devices. If the desk is assigned to a specific person, key #1 should always be left for that person, use 2 or 3 to connect your computer. Because this is a shared area, you may have to do this when you return if others are using the keyboard as well, but the process is quick and simple.
-
Turn on the keyboard: Slide the power switch on the keyboard to the “ON” position.
-
Enter pairing mode: Press and hold the blue "1", "2" or "3" key above the number pad on the keyboard. The Bluetooth indicator light should start blinking, indicating that the keyboard is in pairing mode.
-
Enable Bluetooth on your device: On the device you want to pair with (e.g., computer, tablet, smartphone), go to the Bluetooth settings and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
-
Find the keyboard: In the list of available Bluetooth devices, look for “Arteck HB192” and select it.
-
Complete the pairing process: Follow any additional on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process. You may need to enter a pairing code displayed on your device.
