SharePoint - Documents (One Drive and SharePoint Libraries)
There are two different areas that documents are stored on SharePoint: OneDrive and Document Libraries
One Drive: This is a section of sharepoint that only the logged in user has access to. However, the logged in user can share documents with others and allow them access to that specific shared document
Document Libraries: These areas are part of SharePoint and are accessible by anyone that is part of specific access groups. For example Operations Documents is open to any logged in user, but Financial documents is only accessible by members of the Financial department.
Accessing One Drive - you have a few ways to access your One Drive:
From SharePoint: click on the launcher boxes and choose OneDrive:

OneDrive Page Opens. This page gives you several different options:
Files - You OneDrive Files that you have saved

Recent - This veiw shows you the most recent documents you access. This is a great resource when you are looking for a document that you can't find. It will be in this list if you know it's been opened previously

Shared - Shared view is all documents that have been shared with you by other users. When you receive a document via email that is shared with you and you can't find that link, that document will be in this view. You can sort by Shared By to find the documents easier

Shared Libraries - These are sites that you visit regularly. This includes Teams groups that you access as well

The second method to access OneDrive is thru File Explorer, this will allow you access the files via the Windows file Explorer and copy, paste, open, delete files without going into SharePoint.

Doucment Libraries can also be accessed from File Explorer as well
Document Libraries are accessed from the Navigation\Departments menu, click the Document link under the department you need to access

When the document library opens you can see all documents and folders.

You can navigate the files or you can search. To search, click in the Search this library at the top of the page

You can type a word or string of words in this field, as you type, you will see items appear that match your search string, if these are not what you are looking for, hit enter and the search results will display and you will see all document location in that library that contain you search string.
NOTE: The more specific you are the narrower the results will be. Example: exact title of the document or exact phrase

Open Documents
You can click on the document and it will prompt you to open in Excel/Work

or you can click on the 3 vertical dots and choose Open and choose to open online or on the desktop.
