Moving documents from desktop to One Drive
Open One Drive so you can view One Drive and you desktop at the same time

Press the ctrl key and click on each document that does not have a shortcut arrow on it that needs to be moved to One Drive

Drag the files to the One Drive Window and you will see an icon when you bring this over other files.

when you release, you will see Uploading X documents and the status will tell you when it's done. Once completed, your documents are now copied to One Drive and you can delete them from the desktop of the computer.

NOTE: If you want to put these files in a folder, you will have to go to One Drive and create the folder first, then drop them onto that folder in One Drive as described above.
